offer services from complete turnkey production to recommendations
for your in-house development group. We have designed microwave
amplifiers, filters, couplers, power dividers and switches up to
40 GHz. Applications include radar, electronic warfare, military
communications, homeland security and telecommunications for emergency
response teams (first responders). We are actively involved in designing
and producing high frequency packages in aluminum, ceramic and Kovar.
We have a unique capability for designing and producing silver/gold
plated aluminum enclosures for light weight with low RF losses.
Our extensive production expertise for hybrid circuits and other
microcircuits includes wire and ribbon bonding, epoxy die attach,
and eutectic die attach using Au-Sn, Au-Ge, Sn-Pb, and In solders.
We service the microwave industry with pattern generation on ceramic
and other hard substrates using etch back, plate up or lift off
procedures. Some solutions we have provided in the past include:
• 0.5 mil lines and spaces for couplers
• 3 mil thick copper and gold pattern plating for low resistance
and high Q applications
• air bridges where wire bonding is not practical
• wrap around metallization for more effective grounding
• double sided patterning
• thick film etch back for loop inductors
