Any type of boards, including Teflon, Cuflon or Kapton substrates, are our specialty. Our fully automated and semi-automated facility with ESD protection system implemented in compliance with MIL STD-1686, Handbook 263 and ESD.20.20 spec guarantees the integrity of the components and hence the reliability of the end product. PSAT maintains the highest levels of workmanship as required per MIL STD 454 and MIL STD 2000 allow us to manufacture assemblies of the highest reliability and quality. PSAT maintains the utmost levels of cleanliness as certified by our Alpha lonograph on compliance with MIL-P-28809. PSAT uses only water washable or RMA type flux in all processes and utilizes a water cleaning machine or a vapor degreaser for cleaning boards. Our in-house plant provides PSAT with a constant supply of fresh de-ionized water. We also provide fully tested boards and conformal services in compliance with MIL-I-46058C. Surface mount technology, one or both sided and mixed technology. Inspection of the screen, careful cleaning in a dedicated machine guarantee the elimination of 60% of the causes of defects. The use of very modern screen printing techniques increase the odds even more. Inspection of the solder (and adhesive) deposition prior to assembly is a must. An oven, with a perfect temperature profile for the assembly, guarantees the successful collimation of the assembly process. The cleaning process, ion analysis, and final testing produces the results in a reliable product. Inspection stations located at critical points in process and at final test insure the quality of the product.
